How to Use Choices of Democracy

6/5/2005

There are Hosted and Challenge debates/forums and News.  "Hosted" events are brought forward by groups and organizations.  "Challenge" events are brought forward by candidates.  News reports are submitted by all the above via text, audio or video.  The platform is open to all candidates and all races.

All debates and forums posted are neutral and non-partisan.  Content contributed within a certain time is posted in the order received with no editing.  For Hosted events, submissions are posted simultaneously so responses are made public at once giving equal contest to all participants.  For Challenge and News events, submissions are posted when received.  Content will be linked through this and supporting organizations' websites.  After use, all content is donated to the Internet Archive.

Hosted events    Groups and organizations ask questions posted online for audio, video or text responses as designated.  If it is an audio forum, respondents may respond with text if they so choose, and so on.  Hosted events open with invitations for submissions and close at a specified time.  All event submissions are made public after the forum closes and is posted on Choices of Democracy.  If you would like to engage your organization contact choicesofdemocracy at gmail.com

Video  Invitations to video events require respondents to upload video files to their COD weblog accounts photos and files upload section.  Each 90 second response shall be linked to the respective event questions/issues.  If you need assistance in recording your videos, contact choicesofdemocracy at gmail.com.
